A small group of year 6 children attended a drawing workshop as part of their learning and Arts experience for the Bronze level. The workshop was designed so the children could gain skills, practice and develop them and finally deliver a workshop to their younger peers.

Priory - Arts Award - clay vessels
September & October 2011
As part of the school's Arts Award participation and research for the new Pilot programmes for younger children, a clay project was devised. The chidren made vessels over several days using a slab technique. These were rolled flat, indented with pattern, decorated, fired, painted and then glazed and fired again. The finished products were very impressive and the children thoroughly enjoyed the whole tactile experience.
